I did my first photo shoot the other day and i thought i'd share some of the shots from the day. I am very pleased at how they turned out. Please let me know what you think. Sorry not photo info on these shots.

A Softbox and an Umbrella

This was taken with a strobe and and an umbrella. If you close you can see the umbrella in her eye.

F10
1/400 sec.
What do you think?
My Mistake. I used two softboxes. I know that was sort of miss leading. It is two soft boxes. The one on the left of her face was turned down very low.

This is a shot taken right down my street. I took it about a week ago. 30sec exposure to get the glow from the lights. Taken with sigma 105mm 2.8 Sweet lens.

First Photo Shoot

This was my first photo shoot. My Sister-In-Law wanted some pictures and i finally had a chance to do it. Unfortunately i did it at the worst time. The sun was high and burnt out a lot of my shots. This was taken with a 50mm 1.8 Nikkor 200 ISO. Enjoy

Night Shot Of Tree In Back Yard

This is a shot taken at night once again. I thought this tree was pretty interesting. The only thing done was set it picasa to auto contrast.

10sec at F/4.5

Night Shots of Stars Test run

This is a night shot that i tried of the stars. I tried with F/8 for 30sec but it didnt turn out to well. Here it is at
ISO 200
F/3.8 for 30sec
28-80 Nikor G Lens
It's a little light but thats because i'm testing it out. next time i'll try it at F/16 for 3-5 Min There will definitly be alot of star movement.

Backyard Night Shot

I was messing around with night photography and here is what came out of my back yard Here are the settings:

30 Sec exposure
F/4.5
28-80 Nikor G Lens

This is the second shot with Picasa adjustments. Autocolor, It looks like a mix between night and day. What do you think?

A couple bathing there feet

Lady umbrella in a clear sky

This is a picture of a lady that I took at the same beach. I felt it would be a nice shot since she was at a beach with an umbrella and there were a bunch of pidgeons around her at the time.

Photo Shoot Eye's

This photo was taken on 18 March 2005 with my Nikon D70 using the following:
Nikor 28-80mm G Lens
ISO 200
1/60
F5.6
80mm
Lighting was ordinary 60watt bulbs

I Cropped the image using picasa so it just shows the eyes. I also made it B&W just because it looks better that way. Tell me what you think and what could be better. I'll be trying some night shots soon so we'll see what that looks like.
